KING KONG! Whoo!
King Kong is nice.
If you're gonna watch it, here's the storyline. I'm not gonna ruin everything for you.
Ann Darrow(Naomi Watts), Carl Denham(Jack Black) and Jack Driscoll(Adrien Brody) are the main characters in the story! They, together with the ship VENTURE and its crew get to the island, which Carl believes to be an island not yet discovered, called Skull Island.

And you know the rest. Ann gets kidnapped by those people living on the island as a sacrifice to Kong. (they are really quite freaky. No kidding.) Jack(Driscoll) is determined find her because they have had a previously romantic encounter on the boat. So they set out and...you know...you know.

Good movie. Nice action.
There was a part with really big gross worms that really freaked me out. Didn't like that scene.
But other than that, good movie. No doubt.

Whoa, whoa.
Jo? What's going on?
Okay, I can tell you are obviously very pissed at somebody.

I changed my blogskin by the way. And in case you didn't know my blog was changed about three weeks ago, I think. So my cbox and everything is renewed except for the posts.
See it at

Do tag! Okay, maybe I don't know any of you obviously because we have never met and you are all Jolene's friends but never mind, just tag! It doesn't matter. Just say a hello (:

Darn.
In two weeks, school will be starting. Not like any of us need any reminding, by the way. A whole new year. A new level. Secondary Two! It's really quite unbelievable. We'll be mini seniors. But we must be NICE seniors. Some of my friends told me that their seniors hate juniors. I think that is quite sad, really. Oh well.
There's one thing I'm quite afraid of actually. As you all should know, my CCA is Symphonic Band and I play the flute. So I'm quite afraid that my juniors have already played flute in their primary school and that they'll play better than me. I'm a bad player, okay...Serious. I may play the flute and the piano and the recorder but that doesn't mean I play well. Urgh. Imagine if my juniors play better! I'll feel so inferior to them. But THANK GOODNESS they won't beat me in drills. Yep, they won't. I'm so much better in drills than playing.
But other than that, I don't think there's any other thing I dread. Except that my grades will drop? I must maintain my grades. I'm such a freaking lazy bum and I totally enjoy slacking. Which kind of sucks. I would love to be hardworking.
And I hope the juniors will be nice. Hopefully they won't be bitchy idiots who try to fit in with the cooler seniors by lowering their belts and stuff. There are people like that. I haven't lowered my belt, okay??? But I do wear ankle socks. The prefect's forever telling me to pull my socks up.
Other than that, I mostly keep to the school rules. But I want more ear piercings! I pierced a second hole in my right ear and my sis took the other in her right ear too. But mine had an infection and the stupid earstick fell out while I was in Australia so the damn hole closed, what else. And my school doesn't allow earstuds, only earsticks. Transparent. But no one listens to that luh. Including me! I wear black earsticks. SO if I want to pierce more, I have to put a plaster over the earstud for two weeks until it's relatively safe to remove the earstud and slide in the stick.
Next year there will be new pinafores. I am so relieved that I entered the school a year before that happened. The new pinafore is *eek*, according to the description the VP gave. And there will be new school socks!!! We have to wear them in 2007. But the new pupils will have to wear them, I think. So I have to treasure my ankle socks. I hope the school socks will be ankle, but I know that is quite unlikely cos they will give a rule saying that the school crest must be visible. And you know my school crest, right?
Hmm. Raise your hand if you think my school year's gonna rock.

okay i've been super bad. haven't blogged for months! absolutely no temptation to do so, but i feel i have to follow up since jo posted recently.

some feedback about your recent post, jo:
1. HPGoF was really really nice overall.
2. i think the quidditch cup was short as they wanted to only wanted to introduce this guy called viktor krum. oh, and they wanted us to see the dark mark.
3. isn't HP and LOTR about the same length? i mean, both are definitely more than 2 hours. i wouldn't say there's a whole lot of difference. maybe LOTR would be about half an hour more or something, but then what really matters is the quality of the movie, not the quantity.[in this case, length]
4. i like ron and fred and george too. there's one super funny part where ron was wearing the dress robes and he mentioned that they looked like and smelled like his great aunt tessie.
5. i wouldn't compare GoF with CoS. cos' after all, aren't they directed by different directors? so we can't really say which show was better, because each director would have his own style. but that's how i think. no offence, really.
6. what is wrong with hermione? or are you talking emma watson? what, she grew taller? prettier? i thought she acted quite well in this show. so did the others.
7. oops. skipped a point. i agree that it's not dark enough. i actually sort of expected darker. my friend and i were actually discussing HPGoF the other day, and we both thought the darker, the better. cos' if the show is so 'shallow', i really wouldn't have that really good feeling that i managed to remember what i read like, 5 years back. (haven't touched HP books since then; they were borrowed from my cousin) in this case of HPGoF, i did! so, i was happy.
8. snape, comical? comical, snape? these two words don't go together. i think he has a way of saying his words so that they curl of the end of his tongue. did what i just said make sense? i doubt it. never mind.

the neoprints we took, one word for them: GREAT. the quality was good, and in most pics everyone was smiling. but, yeah, haha, daph got blocked out of one. i think i looked like crap though. ugh.
and i think our birthday plan for tricia was a tad too messy. as in, not well organised. oh well. we'll learn with experience, hopefully. not like we're gonna have another trip soon. sigh. miss all of you loads. loads and loads and loads and loads of misses.

oh, and, jo? jess came with us to buy the cake. but no matter. it was money worth spent.

for the moment jo is overseas in australia! she just went off yesterday night, no, wait, this morning at 1pm. we sms-chatted around 8 last night before she went to bed. bet she spent the entire plane journey playing mario. haha. we'll ask her when she gets back.
which just reminds me, i haven't blogged about my trip to australia. wanna read about it?

love,
tessa
